Abstract
This study was for comparison of autogenous bone block and demineralized allogenic bone block (Hans Biomed, DFDBA) for alveolar bone augmentation in the mandibular second molar region. We performed vertical augmentation of Rt. mandibular posterior alveolar ridge using the demineralized allogenic bone block and Lt. side using the autogenous ramal block bone. After about 8 months, we performed installation of the dental implant on the sites and bone biopsy. After the bone grafts, we observed the favorable bone formation for implant, but this procedure was required more long-term follow up.
